How points and rewards syncing works
Complete guide to understanding how points and rewards syncing works in My10x
Overview of Points Syncing
My10x connects to your financial institutions to automatically update your rewards balances. Understanding how this works helps set proper expectations.
How Automatic Syncing Works
Initial Connection
- You authorize My10x to access your account
- Bank shares card and rewards data
- Initial sync can take 24-48 hours
- All eligible programs import
Regular Updates
- Most banks update every 24-48 hours
- Not real-time updates
- Pending transactions may not show
- Statement close triggers updates
Banks That DO Sync Points
Full Sync Support
- Chase: Ultimate Rewards (mostly)
- American Express: Membership Rewards
- Citi: ThankYou Points (when working)
- US Bank: Most programs
- Wells Fargo: Rewards programs

Banks That DON'T Sync Points
These require manual updates:
- Capital One: All rewards
- Bank of America: All programs

- Many credit unions
Understanding Sync Delays

- Statement posting: 24-48 hours
- Bonus posting: Varies widely
- Transfer completion: 1-7 days
Why Delays Occur
- Bank processing schedules
- Weekend/holiday delays
- System maintenance
- Data refresh cycles
Points vs. Account Balance
Important distinction:
- Points: Rewards balance only
- Balance: Money owed (not tracked)
- Available credit: Not displayed
- Pending points: May not show
