Why Aren't My Points Updating?

Points syncing issues can occur for several reasons. First, determine if your bank supports automatic syncing.
Banks That DON'T Sync Points Automatically- Capital One - Requires manual updates
- Bank of America - Manual tracking only
- Barclays (some programs) - Limited sync support
For these banks, you'll need to update points manually in My Points.
Troubleshooting Steps for Banks That Should Sync
Step 1: Check Connection Status
- Go to My Wallet
- Look for any error messages on your cards
- If you see 'Connection Issue', click to resolve
Step 2: Verify Sharing Permissions
For Chase:
- Log into Chase.com
- Go to Security & Privacy > Linked Apps > My10x
- Ensure rewards sharing is enabled
For American Express:
- Ensure you're the primary cardholder (not AU)
- Refresh your Amex connection in Manage Connections
Step 3: Wait for Sync Timing
- Initial sync: Can take up to 24 hours
- Regular updates: Usually every 24-48 hours
- Manual refresh available in Manage Connections
How to Update Points Manually
- Navigate to My Points
- Click + Add Program
- Select program type (Flexible Currency, Airline, Hotel)
- Enter your current balance
- Save and update as needed
- Chase Marriott: Known sync issues, may need manual tracking
- Authorized User cards: Points belong to primary cardholder
- Recently added cards: Allow 24-48 hours for first sync
