How to manually add a card
Step-by-step guide to manually adding credit cards to your My10x wallet
When to Add Cards Manually
Add cards manually when:
- Your bank doesn't support direct connection
- You prefer not to link your bank account
- You want to track closed cards for history
- Connection issues prevent automatic import
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Start the Process
- Navigate to My Wallet
- Click + Add Account in the top right corner
- Select I'll Add This Card Manually
2. Select Your Card
- Choose the bank/issuer from the dropdown
- Select your specific card from the list
- If you don't see your card, click My card is not listed
3. Enter Card Details
Fill in all required information:
- Account Status: Open or Closed
- Cardholder Status: Primary Cardholder or Authorized User
- Date Opened: When you got the card
- Annual Fee Override: Check if you pay a different fee
- Welcome Bonus Received: Check if you got the signup bonus
- Bonus Received Date: When you completed the requirements
4. Card Not Listed?
If your card isn't in the database:
- Click My card is not listed
- Submit a Missing Card Request
- Include: Bank name, exact card name, annual fee
- We'll add it to the database and notify you
Managing Manual Cards
Updating Points
Manual cards require manual point updates:
- Go to My Points
- Click + Add Program
- Link the program to your manual card
- Update balances periodically
Editing Card Information
- Click the three dots (⋮) on the card
- Select Edit
- Update any information
- Save changes
Deleting Manual Cards
Unlike connected cards, manual cards can be deleted:
- Click the three dots (⋮)
- Select Remove
- Confirm deletion
Best Practices
- Be accurate with dates for proper 5/24 tracking
- Include closed cards for complete history
- Update points regularly for manual cards
- Consider connecting accounts when possible for automatic updates
