How to fix Chase connection problems
Comprehensive guide to troubleshooting Chase bank connection issues and points syncing problems
Known Issue
We're aware of an issue with Chase not properly sending rewards data. We're working with Chase to resolve this, but there's no ETA currently.
Common Chase Connection Problems
- Ultimate Rewards points showing as 0
- Business cards not appearing
- Marriott/Southwest points not syncing
- New cards not showing up automatically
Step-by-Step Solutions
1. Enable Card Sharing (Most Important)
- Log in to Chase.com
- Navigate to Security & Privacy in the menu
- Click Linked Apps & Websites
- Select My10x
- Ensure all cards you want to track are checked
- Critical: Check 'Include new, eligible accounts automatically'
2. Connect Business Accounts Separately
Business cards require a separate connection:
- Go to My Wallet
- Click + Add Account
- Select Connect Directly Through Your Bank
- Choose Chase and log in with your business credentials
3. Refresh Your Connection
- Navigate to My Wallet
- Click Manage Connections
- Find your Chase connection
- Click the refresh button
- Wait 24 hours for the sync to complete
What If Points Still Don't Sync?
Some Chase cards have ongoing sync issues:
- Marriott Bonvoy cards: May need manual tracking
- Southwest cards: Known sync delays
- Ultimate Rewards: Should sync within 24 hours
Best Practices
- Use desktop browser for initial connection
- Don't close any windows during connection
- Allow up to 24 hours for initial sync
- Check both personal and business logins
