Updating Capital One points manually
Guide to manually tracking and updating Capital One rewards points in My10x
Why Manual Updates Are Required
Capital One is one of the few major issuers that doesn't share rewards data through connections. All Capital One rewards must be tracked manually.
Setting Up Manual Tracking
Step 1: Add Your Capital One Card
If not already connected:
- Go to My Wallet
- Click + Add Account
- Connect your Capital One account (for card info only)
Step 2: Add Capital One Rewards Program
- Navigate to My Points
- Click + Add Program
- Select Flexible Currency
- Choose Capital One Rewards
- Enter your current points balance
- Save the program
Updating Your Balance
Regular Updates
- Log into your Capital One account
- Check your current rewards balance
- Go to My Points in My10x
- Find Capital One Rewards
- Click Update
- Enter new balance
- Save changes
Update Frequency
We recommend updating:
- After each statement closes
- Before planning redemptions
- At least monthly for accuracy
- After any large purchase or redemption
Troubleshooting Update Issues
Update Button Not Working
If clicking Update doesn't work:
- Try refreshing your browser
- Clear browser cache
- Try a different browser
- Ensure JavaScript is enabled
Points Not Saving
- Check for error messages
- Ensure you're entering numbers only
- Don't include commas in large numbers
- Try logging out and back in
Which Capital One Cards Are Affected?
All Capital One cards require manual tracking:
- Venture X
- Venture
- VentureOne
- Savor
- SavorOne
- Quicksilver
- All other Capital One cards
Future Automation
We're working with Capital One to enable automatic syncing. Until then, manual updates are necessary. We'll notify users when automatic syncing becomes available.
